Built for real-time monitoring

GroundHalo complements tools like VAN and NationBuilder. Your team works where they work — you get visibility and accountability.

Live Map Visibility

See your field team on a live map with freshness indicators and a clean operator experience.

Shift Truth

Know who is actively working. Track real clock-in/clock-out sessions (not just planned schedules).

Exceptions that matter

Stale pings, no ping today, low accuracy — surfaced instantly so directors act fast.

Mobile-first tracker

Lightweight native app designed to run background pings with battery and offline protections.

Privacy by design

Shift-gated tracking and clear “Tracking Active” status so teams know what’s happening.

Works alongside your CRM

Dispositions and survey results stay in your CRM. GroundHalo focuses on visibility and field execution.

How it works

A simple flow that your staff can understand in minutes.

1

Add your roster

Create assignments for workers and teams so directors can see who’s responsible for what.

2

Start a work session

Workers start a shift in the tracker app. Tracking runs only while on shift.

3

Monitor and act

Directors watch live, follow exceptions, and message workers when pings go stale.

4

Close out and report

End sessions and export basic reports if needed — without duplicating CRM data.

FAQ

Quick answers for directors and admins.

Do we have to canvass inside GroundHalo?

No. GroundHalo is a visibility layer. Your team can canvass in VAN, NationBuilder, or other tools. GroundHalo focuses on shift + location freshness + exceptions.

How often does location update?

Typically every 5–10 minutes (configurable). The system flags stale pings and low-accuracy conditions so directors know what’s reliable.

Is tracking always on?

No. Tracking should be shift-gated with clear “Tracking Active” status. The goal is trust and transparency.

Can we use turf boundaries?

Optional. If you have turfs, GroundHalo can show on/off turf monitoring. Many orgs start without it and still get huge value.
